Membership information

Any health care provider offering pediatric care is eligible to participate in Children’s Health Network (CHN). Providers can join independently or as a part of a larger practice.

The 300 affiliated providers who are already members of CHN are part of this pediatric-focused, clinically integrated network. Providers can join at any time.

A commitment of support, time and resources is necessary for clinical integration to be successful.

Requirements include:

  • Using clinical guidelines
  • Complying with performance measures
  • Sharing information
  • Collaborating and promoting accountability

Membership benefits

A clinically integrated network provides an outstanding opportunity for CHN and its members to progress to the next level of collaboration.

Joining the pediatric-focused clinically integrated network through CHN will not affect your current contracts. CHN members will immediately have the opportunity to participate in the managed care provider network through Aetna. Members of CHN will receive support from other members in improving care coordination and identifying best practices in active and ongoing management of pediatric conditions, which positions providers to participate in value-based contracts and improves the overall health of our pediatric population.

Clinical focus & quality

Clinical initiatives and metrics will be determined by the Clinical Management Data & IT Committee. Once the initiatives and performance metrics are determined, CHN will work with its participants to build those performance metrics into their practice.

Providers interested in joining CHN should contact us at 800.236.2832 or There is currently a nominal membership fee of $100 for the first year, with no additional financial requirements to join CHN. Providers can join at any time.
